The Author

Shiveshwar was born and raised in the scenic hill station of Nainital—where he now spends most of his time—it is only fitting that his first book is rooted in a place with which he shares such a deep and enduring connection. He spent the first eighteen years of his life studying in some of the town’s well-known schools, and then the next three decades searching for a way to return home.

Over the course of a 35 year career in advertising, Shivi lent his creativity to many renowned brands, writing slogans, print ads, and television commercials. But after years of giving words to others, he finally decided to write for himself.

When he is not lost in thought or on the tennis court, he devotes himself to running his heritage homestay in Nainital, where he takes great joy in welcoming guests to the historic Clifton Bungalow.
